Special Section: Navigation in Information-Intensive Environments

Tomas Isakowitz is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at New York University's Stern School of Business. His research interests are hypermedia technology and its applications, decision support, and temporal databases. He is currently working on a life-cycle approach for the design and development of hypermedia applications. Professor Isakowitz received his B.Sc. in mathematics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, his M.Sc. in mathematics at the University of California at Santa Barbara, and his M.Eng. and Ph.D. in computer science at the University of Pennsylvania. He has published in his areas of interest, has participated in the organization of several conferences and workshops, and has served as reviewer for numerous academic journals.
